This site exists to facilitate efforts of people to educate and advocate for the end of this plauge on humanity. The video is located under both the “Classroom” and “Host an Event” tabs, as are the handouts and discussion questions.

One way to bring awareness is to hold small to large group presentations about how child sex trafficking is occurring in your community and the ways young people are lured and trapped into possibly the world's largest income industry. By sharing information, we can increase our observations of the world around us and actively participate in making an impact through the increased awareness of those who are targeted and those who care for them.

Creating an event is as simple as picking a date and time and place, putting up posters and contacting churches and organizations to announce it is taking place and to encourage attendance. Probably best to do it with some friends. You could also try to get a sponsor organization or church to participate in the recruitment of the participants and providing the venue, but you could use a school cafeteria or library just as easily. There are pre-written letters to approach potential sponsors/partners which you can customize as well as handouts, posters, and discussion questions in the “Host An Event” tab.

You should watch the video and read thru the educational materials to prepare, and if you have time, approach and request local law enforcement to attend and maybe add some extra legitimacy or personal testimony to the severity and pervasiveness of the problem.

Another way is to approach a principal or school official about using the material in a classroom. Always good to get a few other parents to support the effort, but hopefully the official or teacher will see the value of educating their students about this dangerous activity going on all around us. There is also a template for a letter or email to government officials who could advocate for funding or re-assigning work to combat this activity in the communities under the “Take Action” tab. Get your friends or church or an organization to do a mass letter or email campaign to city, county or state officials.

There's always prayer, and under the “Resources” tab, there is a bank of information and other organizations that are involved in many other aspects of confronting and responding to this crisis. You can find one to financially support if that is what you are being led to do, or you can explore the efforts of others and pick out one to help with. As with most things in life, more work leads to more results. Thank you so much for giving this a look and considering how you might be able to help.
